1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Pulse Job ("Platform") at https://pulsjob.com (pulsjob.com, including www.pulsjob.com) or our mobile applications, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including job seekers, employers, and visitors.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of our Platform, you must create an account:

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • One person or entity may maintain only one account
  • You may request deletion of your account as described in Account deletion and recovery (section 14). Administrator accounts follow a different process; contact support.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, inaccurate, or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purposes
  • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Platform
  • Post discriminatory or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Community Guidelines

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which describe respectful conduct, honest profiles, and prohibited abuse. The Community Guidelines are incorporated by reference into these Terms. We may take action under these Terms for violations of the Community Guidelines.

5. Job Seeker Responsibilities

As a job seeker, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile and applications
  • Keep your resume and profile information up to date
  • Only apply to positions you are genuinely interested in
  • Respond professionally to employer communications
  • Not share account credentials with others

6. Employer Responsibilities

As an employer, you agree to:

  • Post only legitimate job opportunities
  • Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • Not discriminate based on protected characteristics
  • Respect candidate privacy and confidentiality
  • Comply with all employment laws and regulations
  • Not use the Platform to collect resumes for purposes other than hiring
  • Promptly update or remove filled positions
  • Maintain accurate company page information
  • Use social post features for professional content only
  • Create blog content that is original, accurate, and relevant

7. Social Posts and Feed Content

Pulse Job includes social-style posts and a feed feature. When creating or interacting with social posts:

  • Posts must be professional, relevant, and accurate
  • Avoid clickbait, misleading claims, or engagement bait
  • Do not publish spam, repeated promotions, or unrelated advertisements
  • Do not share hateful, violent, sexual, or illegal content
  • Do not upload copyrighted images, videos, or text unless you have the right to use them
  • Clearly label sponsored, promotional, or branded content where required
  • Do not use social posts to impersonate a company, recruiter, or public figure
  • Respect intellectual property rights of others
  • Report inappropriate content using our reporting tools

8. Blog Content

When creating or publishing blog content:

  • Content must be original, accurate, and relevant to jobs, careers, hiring, or professional growth
  • Avoid plagiarism, duplicate content, and low-value keyword stuffing
  • Do not publish false claims about salaries, hiring, visas, certifications, or employment outcomes
  • Use clear titles, honest summaries, and useful information
  • Disclose partnerships, sponsorships, or promotions where applicable
  • Do not publish content that is hateful, misleading, illegal, or harmful
  • Do not use the blog to impersonate an employer, recruiter, or authority
  • If content includes advice in sensitive areas such as legal, financial, or medical topics, it must be clearly presented as general information only and not as professional advice

9. Resume Builder and ATS Checker

Our platform includes resume building and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) checker tools:

  • Resume builder templates are provided for your convenience and customization
  • ATS checker provides suggestions based on common ATS patterns but does not guarantee employment or interviews
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information in your resume
  • Results from ATS checker are recommendations and should be used as guidance only
  • We do not guarantee that resumes created with our tools will pass all ATS systems

10. Career Quiz and Skill Assessment

Career readiness quizzes and skill assessments are provided for informational purposes:

  • Assessments are designed to provide general guidance and self-reflection
  • Results are not definitive career advice or guarantees of employment
  • Do not use assessment results as the sole basis for career decisions
  • We are not responsible for career decisions made based on assessment results

11. Job Alerts and Notifications

Job alerts and notification features:

  • You can configure job alerts based on your preferences
  • Notifications are sent based on your configured settings
  • We do not guarantee that all matching jobs will be included in alerts
  • You can manage notification preferences in your account settings
  • Push notifications require your device permission and may be affected by your device settings

12. Company Pages and Employer Branding

Company pages allow employers to showcase their brand:

  • Employers are responsible for maintaining accurate company information
  • Company logos, images, and content must not infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Company pages must not contain misleading or false information
  • We reserve the right to modify or remove company page content that violates these terms

13. Application Tracking and Boost

Application tracking and boost features:

  • Application tracking provides visibility into your application status as reported by employers
  • We do not guarantee real-time or accurate status updates from employers
  • Boost features may increase visibility but do not guarantee interviews or offers
  • Boost is a paid feature subject to the payment terms in section 9

14. Saved Jobs, Posts, and Likes

You can save jobs, posts, and like content for personal reference. Saved items are stored in your account and are not shared with others unless you explicitly choose to share them.

15. Profile Sharing and Social Links

Profile sharing and social link features:

  • You can share your public profile with others using shareable links or QR codes
  • You are responsible for the content you include in your public profile
  • Social links you add must be legitimate and lead to appropriate content
  • Do not share profiles or links that violate these terms or community guidelines

16. Media Upload and Processing

When uploading images, videos, or other media:

  • You must have the right to upload and use the media
  • We may compress, optimize, or process media for performance and storage
  • Do not upload content that violates these terms or community guidelines
  • We reserve the right to remove media that violates our policies

17. Support Tickets and Contact

When using support ticket and contact features:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when submitting support requests
  • Do not submit false, misleading, or spam support tickets
  • Respect our support team and communicate professionally
  • We will make reasonable efforts to respond but do not guarantee response times

18. Account Suspension and Maintenance

We may suspend accounts or place the platform in maintenance mode:

  • We may suspend accounts for violation of these terms, community guidelines, or suspicious activity
  • We may place the platform in maintenance mode for updates, security, or operational reasons
  • During maintenance, some or all features may be temporarily unavailable
  • We are not liable for any losses during maintenance or account suspension

19. Mobile App Specific Terms

Additional terms specific to our mobile applications:

  • You must have a compatible device and operating system to use the mobile app
  • App updates may be required to continue using certain features
  • Some features may behave differently on mobile compared to web
  • Mobile app use is subject to the app store terms of the respective platform (Apple App Store, Google Play)
  • Push notifications require your permission and device settings configuration
  • We are not responsible for device compatibility issues or app store approval processes

20. Job Postings

We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any job posting that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate. We do not guarantee that job postings are accurate, complete, or current. Users should independently verify all job information before applying.

21. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Pulse Job or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting content to the Platform (such as your resume or profile), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of providing our services.

22. Payment, subscriptions, refunds, and Auto Apply

General. Fees, taxes, and billing cycles are shown at checkout or in the product UI before you pay. All payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Razorpay). Your use of payment services is also subject to the provider's terms and privacy policy. For billing inquiries, please contact [email protected].

Employer paid services. For employers using paid listings or promotions:

  • Fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Refunds may be issued within 7 days if no premium features were used, at our discretion
  • We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled

Auto Apply (candidates). Auto Apply is an optional paid subscription that allows our systems to automatically submit applications on your behalf to job postings that match criteria you configure, using your profile and resume (or documents) you provide, subject to eligibility checks (such as a complete profile and active subscription). By purchasing or enabling Auto Apply, you authorize us and our systems to transmit applications to employers in this way until you turn the feature off or your subscription ends.

  • You are responsible for keeping your criteria, profile, and resume accurate; you remain responsible for applications sent under your account
  • Auto Apply does not guarantee interviews, offers, or responses; results depend on employers and market conditions
  • Access is for a fixed period (for example 30 days from when your paid access is active in the app). The exact dates and status are shown in the product.
  • You may stop Auto Apply at any time from the app. Stopping stops further automatic applications; it does not necessarily extend your access period or entitle you to a refund for unused time except where required by law.
  • We may pause, limit, or revoke Auto Apply (or your account) for security, abuse, fraud risk, incomplete profile, payment issues, operational reasons, or to comply with law — including where we must pause processing while we investigate.
  • Auto Apply must be used fairly: you must not attempt to circumvent limits, manipulate listings, or misuse automation in a way that harms employers, candidates, or the Platform.
  • Applications submitted through Auto Apply are ordinary applications associated with your account and are visible to employers like other applications, subject to their hiring tools and policies.
  • Pricing may vary by region or campaign; the amount and currency are shown before you pay (commonly INR where Razorpay is used).
  • Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, fees for Auto Apply are non-refundable once access has been made available to you or the paid period has begun as described at purchase — except where we expressly state a different policy in the checkout flow.
  • Auto Apply is not transferable to another account. You must not share credentials or resell access.
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers; if a payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed, we may suspend Auto Apply until the matter is resolved.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted information and are not responsible for the actions of users or employers.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse Job shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

25. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pulse Job from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

26. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, including how we handle account deletion, retention, and recovery. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

27. Account deletion and recovery

You may close your account by visiting https://pulsjob.com/delete-account. You must sign in and confirm the request (including by typing the confirmation phrase shown on that page). This is the primary self-service method to request account deletion.

Deletion is implemented as a soft delete: we mark your account as deleted rather than immediately erasing every record, so we can offer a short recovery window, meet legal or security needs, and preserve integrity where applications or records require it. Details appear in our Privacy Policy.

If you sign in again after requesting deletion, we may inform you that your account is scheduled for deletion and allow you to recover your account instead of opening a normal session, until recovery is completed or no longer available.

Our termination rights. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, fraud, risk to the Platform or other users, or as required by law. Upon termination by us or after you complete deletion (and any active session ends), your right to use the Platform ceases except as needed to recover an account during any offered recovery period.

28. Termination

The ways you or we may end or restrict use of the Platform are described in Account deletion and recovery above and in our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits remedies we may seek under law or equity.

29. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed by contacting us at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, the parties agree that disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the governing law below, in the courts or forums specified there, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require a different process or venue.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right to participate in class or representative actions; if such waiver is not enforceable where you live, this section applies to the maximum extent permitted.

30. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws, without regard to conflict of law principles, subject to mandatory provisions of the law of your place of residence where those provisions cannot be waived by contract.

Subject to mandatory local rules, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of competent international courts for disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform, except where applicable law requires a different venue (for example mandatory consumer court rules in your country).

31. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
